juiced brews poster

OBJECTIVE

To create a poster to ad to advertise our beer at the LCBO.

PROCESS

I decided to go for an 80’s theme for my design. I chose all the typography, and the logo to look like that style. I picked PacMan because that was a popular game in the 80’s. The lime in my logo depicts that the beer is lime. By adding the ghosts in the background at a low opacity added some extra visuals that didn’t over power things.

MEDIUM/TOOLS USED

I used Illustrator for the illustrations, InDesign for putting it all together, and Photoshop for the mock-up.

covid-19 relief concert poster

OBJECTIVE

We were asked to create a poster for a Covid-19 benefit concert being put on by our favorite band.

PROCESS

I did some different sketches for different songs by the band. I chose Ammunition because I wanted to use a water effect since the band is Moist, and the bullet signifies the song title.

MEDIUM/TOOLS USED

I mostly used Illustrator for the poster.

kokos revenge movie poster

OBJECTIVE

We were asked to create a photo manipulated movie poster on a suggested theme. We were not allowed to use actual movies, and everything had to be independent so we couldn’t use actual actors.

PROCESS

Right away I wanted to do a horror movie based on a character in my favorite books. The cat in the book is very smart, and when he thinks that someone is guilty of something wrong, he tends to jump on their heads and scratch them.
I chose the red on the paws and the typography to signify blood, and the glow on the paws made them stand out a little more.

MEDIUM/TOOLS USED

I used Illustrator to design the movie title and the rest was done in Photoshop.

Helvetica Poster

OBJECTIVE

To create a poster for a screening of the Helvetica Documentary by Gary Hustwit.

PROCESS

I went through a lot of ideas to make the most impact. I really liked the idea I chose because it really pops and looks like it is hanging from the top of the poster.

I used InDesign for the poster design.
