Coffee Bag
OBJECTIVE
We were asked to create a coffee bag for a new coffee shop in Stratford.
PROCESS
In the beginning of the process I wanted to design something that really signified Stratford. I first wanted to use music or the Stratford Festival Theatre, but I thought swans were a better fit since they have a swan parade every year. I added the trees and bridge so it looks like they are floating down the Avon River.
MEDIUM/TOOLS USED
I used Illustrator for the typography and illustrations, and Photoshop for the mock-ups.

OBJECTIVE
We were asked to create a book cover design for our favorite author.
PROCESS
Even though Lilian Jackson Braun has a lot of books, I chose The Cat Who Came to Breakfast because I wanted to creat breakfast items. I originally had bacon and eggs, but with further design I chose to incorporate the cat fur and bacon into the typography.
I think it really stands out because not a lot of people would think to incorporate the title of the book into the typography.

I used InDesign to create the book, and Photoshop to do the cat fur and the bacon as well as the mock-up.
